Puerto Banús, the marina located in Nueva Andalucia southwest of Marbella, was one of Spain’s first “village-like” harbour complexes. If you are at all interested in yachts and expensive cars, you should definitely go there. Forty kilometres from Fuengirola. Take the A7 towards Marbella and continue for 10 kilometres and you will get there. You can park in the large entrance street down by the harbour.

From the port of Marbella you can also take a catamaran to Puerto Banús. Tickets are bought in Puerto Deportivo and the journey takes about 30 minutes. The Blue Ferry boat glides along the golden mile so you get a great view throughout the journey.

Here you will find expensive shopping centers, restaurants, and bars. Whitewashed flats line the marina and there are plenty of luxury cars and boats to look at.
